Guy
Vocals, GuitarThe main songwriting force in the band, Guy has been playing and
singing for 20 years. Most notably, he has played guitar for The Boney Pickers
with Mary Cutrufello. On stage, Guy uses a Fender Custom Stratocaster and a Les Paul
Custom through a Mesa-Boogie Mark IV amplifier.
"What we push for,
especially in our live shows, is "music on the edge of chaos" -
music familiar enough that the listener can relate, but challenging
enough - musically and emotionally - to lead the listener on an adventure
towards themselves. When we do that, and it happens unconsciously
for everyone involved, then we have fun, our fans have fun, and we've all
gotten that rush that only music can deliver."

John
Guitar, VocalsJohn
is a journeyman guitar player who's trademark tone brings a feel to the melody that is new and
familiar all at once. His custom
Alembic guitar played through a Mesa-Boogie Mark IV amplifier delivers a potent and intoxicating
punch while soothing the soul. John has been a long time member of local legends Laughin' Bones, and formally
played with Grease Weezer.
"Coming from a piano background when I
was very young, I've always tried to emphasize melody in my lead playing. As a
guitar player, it's too easy to fall into patterns and repetition. Focusing on the
melody helps me avoid that trap."

Chiphead
Keyboards, VocalsAs Coolerheads
newest member, Chip hits the ground
running with jamming that's an infectious addition to the Cooler grooves.
His Hammond organ and multitude of piano sounds paint a rich sonic
texture; as a backup and occasional lead vocalist, he comes through loud and righteous with soul that takes
the performance higher, harder, and happening.
In his local career, Chip grabbed Hartford's
Best Keyboardist and Live Performance awards during his twelve year stint
with the Neybas. Nationally, Chip can be found performing with Dadon
on Capitol Records
Tibetan Freedom Concert disc, with the likes of U2, REM, Pearl Jam, Blur,
the Beastie Boys, and other greats. Chip has lent his hand to movie soundtracks
(Windhorse) and his latest, Sonsara, is due out later this year.
What's he doing here? "I'm always on
the lookout for fun in a band...and C-o-o-l-e-r-h-e-a-d-s, that spells
FUN!"

Dave
Bass Guitar, VocalsIf Mark is the foundation of the rhythm section, then Dave is the cement
that holds it all together. He has been pumping out the low end for more than 15 years,
including an extended engagement with New Havens Straight White Jacket. Dave
also fills in with background vocals and even writes a tune or two. He continues to play
his custom St. Blues bass through a constantly changing array of amplifiers.
"Playing music
in a band requires an "In
The Moment" mindset. When everything is going right, there is a chemistry that
happens a synergy that occurs. And when it works, its explosive, almost
magical."

Mark
DrumsThe rock-solid foundation of the rhythm section, Mark has over 20
years of experience behind the kit. He favors Yamaha, Sonor, and Nobel & Cooley drums
and has a unique selection of Zildjian cymbals. In the past, Mark has performed and
recorded with New Havens Seven Story Mountain.
"I try to approach drumming with an
emphasis on the song - what the song needs at any given time. Individual performance
should shine, but a virtuoso performance will sound out of place on a song that needs a
simple and straightforward part. Sometimes, less is more."
